   @KingVulpix damn right it was. Better written, better paced. They tried to make Bond into an action hero with Quantum. He’s not Jason Bourne, he’s fucking James Bond, a sophisticated chap who has a way with women, and a knowledge about the finer things in life. What the hell were Wilson and Barbara thinking?

    Casino Royale has the best score of all Bond movies. As of my favorite scene: the dramatic ending of the stairwell fight as Vesper Lynd gets up close to killing.

    Martin Campbell is a severly underrated, fantastic director. Loads of the Bond films are just cheesy thrillers with terrible fight scenes and crazy plots. GoldenEye and Casino Royale are superb, superb films.
